Rev. Matthew Tingler, Pastor

The Rev. Matthew J. Tingler began at Christ the King in January of 2012. Pastor Tingler graduated in 2010 from Luther Seminary, in Saint Paul, Minnesota, with a Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree. In 2011, he completed a Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and is eligible to be board certified as a health care chaplain. Pastor Tingler was ordained on December 18, 2011, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, Minnesota, by Bishop Glenn Nycklemoe on behalf of Bishop Margaret Payne. Pastor Tingler has served as the Confirmation Instructor at Immanuel Lutheran Church (Saint Paul, Minnesota) and completed his parish internship at Christ Lutheran Church (Valparaiso, Indiana). Originally from Liberty, Missouri, Pastor Tingler graduated in 2006 from Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri, with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. The grandson of German immigrants, he has studied the German language in Göttingen, Germany, and in Salzburg, Austria along with music history. Matthew enjoys singing in choral ensembles, reading, exploring topics in science, and language studies (especially German). He lives in Nashua with his wife Rebekah Schulz, and their cat, Zoe.
 

Kelley Bawmann, Administrative Assistant

Kelley Bawmann started as CtK's administrative assistant in the Fall of 2011.  She has been a member of CtK since relocating to Nashua from Florida in 2003.  Kelley lives in the church neighborhood with her husband, Tim, and children, Chloe and Eli.

 

Elizabeth Blood, Music Director

Elizabeth Blood, Music Director, is a native of Manchester, NH, and holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Northwestern University and two Masters of Music degrees from Florida State University. The daughter of church musician parents, she has enjoyed participating in worship as a singer, pianist and organist from a very early age. Elizabeth serves as a staff accompanist at the University of New Hampshire and is the Education Coordinator and a member of the piano faculty at the Manchester Community Music School. Recent performances include collaborations with Opera Providence, Boston Midsummer Opera, and the Tanglewood Festival Chorus. Elizabeth has served in the music staffs of Rome First Methodist Church (Rome, GA), Deerfield Community Church - UCC (Deerfield, NH), Lafayette Presbyterian Church (Tallahassee, FL) and Kenilworth Union Church (Kenilworth, IL). She has served at CtK since September, 2008.  

 

Dee Dee Thurber, Chapel School Director

Dee Dee Thurber has been in the Chapel School family since 2000. She began her career at Chapel School as a teacher in the fall of 2006 and was promoted to Director in the fall of 2007. Dee Dee is a certified instructor for the movement program, Brain Gym. She holds a Master's Degree in Special Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and is a Level 1 credentialed Preschool Administrator by the State of NH. She also holds a state credential for Workshop Trainer and Individual Mentor. Dee Dee lives in Nashua with her husband, Jamie, and her 3 children, 2 dogs, and 2 rabbits.
