4-YEAR-OLD PROGRAMS
Our 4-year-old program offers families a choice in classes for their children. In a comfortable 2 ½ hour timeframe, parents may choose a 4 day morning or a 3 day afternoon program. There are a maximum of 20 children with 2 teachers in each program. Learning is center based. The children move through learning centers that incorporate pre-academic skills, listening, language, and creative art expression. Learning centers provide small group learning and promote transitional skills. Both classes allow children to expand their knowledge of letter recognition, numbers, colors, and basic skills as they prepare for kindergarten. The faith formation program SEEDS, which is begun in the 3-year-old program, is carried into his program. Prayer Bear and Chapel Time with Pastor Keyl are integrated into this program. Gross motor development through outside play and music and movement completes this learning experience.
